Introduction

§01General

1J22 (HiperCo 50 equivalent) is an iron-cobalt-vanadium soft magnetic alloy offering the highest saturation magnetic induction (2.4 T) of any commercial magnetic material. It is used in aerospace and defense applications requiring maximum magnetic flux density in minimum weight and volume: solenoid armatures, pole pieces and magnetic bearing components.
