Introduction

§01General

Hastelloy B-2 is the low-carbon, low-iron variant of Hastelloy B with significantly improved resistance to knife-line attack and heat-affected zone corrosion after welding. It retains the exceptional hydrochloric acid resistance of the B family while eliminating the need for post-weld solution heat treatment in many applications.
