Hastelloy B-3
Third-generation Ni-Mo alloy with maximized thermal stability and fabricability.
Introduction
§01 — GeneralHastelloy B-3 represents the third-generation optimization of the nickel-molybdenum alloy family. It eliminates the formation of detrimental Ni₃Mo and Ni₄Mo phases during fabrication, allowing for welding and hot forming without the risk of intergranular corrosion that affected earlier B-grade alloys.
