Introduction

§01General

L605 (Haynes 25) is a cobalt-chromium-tungsten-nickel alloy combining excellent high-temperature strength with good oxidation resistance to 980°C. It is the standard alloy for aerospace bearing races, wear rings and combustion hardware where galling and fretting resistance are critical.
