Introduction

§01General

Monel 400 is a nickel-copper alloy widely specified for seawater, chemical and marine applications. It offers excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of media including seawater, hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid and alkalis. It is non-magnetic and retains strength across a broad temperature range.
